Alban Peignier
Technical Director
Émilie Collet
Director of Strategic Development
His success formula and vision have been instrumental to the company, driving it from a small tech-shop to one of the most vibrant, innovative digital agencies in France.
In 2004, Louis created Bearstech, a cooperative society specializing in managed services, hosting and developing complex applications. He is an Open Source advocate and enthusiast, and holds leadership roles on a number of prominent associations and communities, including Secretary of Silicon Sentier and chairman of the Cap Digital’s Collibri community of Free Software and Web 2.0 actors.
He is also a member of the steering committee of Open World Forum, and was the co-president of the forum’s highly successful 2011 edition. He continuously supports Open Source communities through various events like BarCamps and Open Days.
As a Chief executive at af83, Cyrille's main goal here is to ensure our agency's engagements to our customers: Engagements of ways and/or results, the quality of the participants and deliverables, smoothness in the interactions, and a special contact point. He also keeps an eye over every project so they can stay aligned on matters of usage and User Experience, whatever the technological and technical context: useful, accessible, agreable, engaging, ethical. Theses are how af83-conceived experiences sholud be.
Simultaneously with his professionnal experience, Cyrille has been intervening since 2003 with Cognitive Ergonomy postgrads (Université de Provence and Université de Rennes) in order to train them at UX conception (information and wireframing architecture). He is also one of the directors of the UX & HMI module in the postgrad department of the Univeristy of Aix, his previous course.
During his free time, he enjoys sitting down at a table to share with other people sessions of role playing or board games. To maintain a physical fitness and hone his mind, Cyrille practices (very humbly) yoga and sino-vietnamese martial arts.
Recently, Alban took over the technical manager functions at af83, besides the Lead Developer functions that he has been carrying out since 2012. He works on our most technically complex projects: choosing the best-suited architecture and technology, reviewing code, supporting the other devs… He has an in-depth expertise both on the transportation and digital radios fields.
Graduated from ESIAL with a specialty in Software Engineering, he developed his skills in JAVA, J2EE and JavaScript design, architecture and development during ten years, for numerous projects and clients. In 2005, Alban chose to leave the Dark Side and converted to Ruby and Ruby on Rails, its framework. Baked by his experience, he particularly likes the flexibility and capabilities of this dynamic language and its rapidly evolving framework. Test-Driven Development, continuous integration and agile methodologies hold no secrets for him.
And when he has extra time, he likes to listen to the radio, he also has a thing for poker and music.
New recruit at af83, Emilie uses her 10 years of experience as an association leader in the public health sector to support the strategic development of the company.
Eager to produce a quality service in line with market developments and the expectations of its customers, she participates in the definition of new strategic orientations, internal as well as external, while capitalizing on the existing.
She contributes to the commercial development of the company, assures its representation and participates in the design and dissemination of its communication media. Her experience as coordinator of national networks gives her a special interest in customer relations and project management for the benefit of communities. Director of the first af83 regional office, Emilie is also responsible for deploying the company's activity in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. She is in charge of consulting and AMO missions. In Nevers or Paris, she participates in the structuring of af83 through the animation of internal working groups and likes, in her free time, to engage in artistic projects.
