A new Passenger Experience in airports
By Pauline 15-04-2015
af83 and the company Aéroports de Paris have worked together on a new concept recently presented at the Tradeshow “Passenger Terminal Expo” (PTE) on March 11th - 12th, 2015, Porte de Versailles in Paris.
Antoine Legros, Innovation Project Manager, and Ali Salehabadi, Senior Manager at the Information Systems Division, both representatives of Aéroports de Paris, have revealed their new “User Experience” which arms commercial airport agents with digital tablets on the ground to assist travelers navigating through the airport.
af83 guided Aéroports de Paris in its mission to welcome travelers to design this new service that allows personalized and contextualized information. Travelers with questions concerning transfers, gate numbers or the status of a flight are no longer obliged to wait in long lines for an answer, but are offered an immediate answer by equipped commercial mobile agents.
The article, “Depersonalization of the Passenger Experience”, shows, via the examples and cases presented during this tradeshow, how much User Experience methods are decisive in accompanying and welcoming travelers.
