IN REALTIME
Bruno Michel will be talking during the APIdays
By Marie 30-11-2012
Organized by faberNovel and Webshell and gathering CXOs, entrepreneurs and developers the next December 3rd and 4th, it will be centered as the name shows on APIs, or Application Programming Interface. APIs allow various objects (websites, applications, services and software…) to interact and exchange.
The event will more especially deal with the transformations, opportunities and stakes that APIs bring to the modern web and applications. The first day will be about “How to increase its business thanks to APIs”, and the second will be more technical and around the design of high-performance APIs.
Bruno Michel, af83 CTO, will talk on this second day, with a session entitled “Welcome to the Evented Web”. “When we think about REST API, the first thing that comes to our mind is clients that request some resources and server that responds to them. But, sometimes, this workflow is not adapted: in a more and more real-time web, the server can be the side that knows when and what information the client wants. That’s why I’ll be talking about some solutions for that.”
