Two days ago, on October 14th, the RMN-GP's (Réunion des Musées Nationaux - Grand Palais) photo library dedicated to a large audience has been launched.
Thus, the aim of the institution is to make the best use of its art database via a specific website which would offer innovative functions synced with the actual uses. Spreading the content as broad as possible to all audiences and giving context to images and use rights were the missions given by the museum. Moreover, the main challenges were divided into a technical software use, specific for its editorial functions, and an API as a data and contents source.
A few weeks before, the platform had been introduced to the journalists by Isabelle Reusa, Digital Project Director, and her team, with Fleur Pellerin. The assembly has been satisfied by the different functions of the platform.
af83's team is proud to have accompanied RMN all along this project in order to accomplish it and reach the expectations and the objectives stated for the users.
